Emergent Media Meet-Up: Hosted by the Video Gaming and Esports Network (VESN)

You are warmly invited to join us for our Emergent Media Meet-Ups, hosted by the Video Gaming and Esports (VES) Network. These informal monthly gatherings are a chance to meet fellow faculty interested in emerging media, digital creativity, interactive storytelling, gaming, and technology.
We’ll meet at 4:00 PM at Oden Brewing Company on the following Thursdays:

- October 29, 2026
- November 19, 2026 (one week earlier than usual because of Thanksgiving)
The meet-ups are meant to be relaxed and informal—a chance to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, explore possible collaborations, and learn more about the growing Emergent Media community at UNCG.
We’d also love for you to join the new VES Network Discord server.
It’s a space where conversations, announcements, ideas, and collaborations can continue between our monthly gatherings.
