Rhonda and Eric Hodges always knew they would graduate from college — they just didn’t know when, and they didn’t expect to graduate together.

The BLS program is proud to announce that two BLS students, Patricia Smalley and Zann Nelson, were recipients of 2020 Provost Student Excellence Awards.  The Excellence Award is UNCG’s highest academic honor for undergraduates recognizing academic excellence in and out of class.

Zann Initiated a resolution “Acknowledging with profound regret the existence and acceptance of lynching within the commonwealth” in the 2019 Virginia General Assembly.
