Megan Rudock (Ph.D., Wake Forest University) completed her doctoral studies in population, genetics and biochemistry. Her research background is in human molecular genetics and epigenetics of inflammation, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. She has taught at Wake Forest University and Winston Salem State University. Dr. Rudock believes students enjoy learning more and develop a greater ownership of material when they are given the opportunity to construct their own understanding.
